Today’s politics is increasingly characterized by its shamelessness. Politics is a stage for shameless lies, deception and fraud. Shamelessness has also found its way into Austria, and this phenomenon is not limited to politics, but also includes business and the media. In the ruling People’s Party of Federal Chancellor Sebastian Kurz in particular, decency seems to have been completely lost.
You can deal with it in different ways. You can play along with this game, you can give up, you can lament the lack of morals or you can hold a mirror up to shamelessness.
