Thomas Bernhard’s 90th birthday

Today, February 9, 2021, Austrian writer Thomas Bernhard would have turned 90. Our government presented him the following gifts for his birthday:

Economics minister Margarete Schramböck closes the online platform “Kaufhaus Österreich” a few weeks after she had initiated it. The costs for this amount to 1.2 million euros of taxes.

Interior Minister Karl Nehammer has reports for the investigation commission blacked out, which prove that he must have known about the preparations for the terrorist attack on November 2nd. In this attack 5 people were killed.

Finance Minister Gernot Blümel is the chief representative of the Republic of Austria in the area of gaming. Today it becomes public that he is accused in the criminal case of the gaming group Novomatic.
